As the Law of Attraction teaches, meditation is a powerful tool for manifestation. While life events are often outside of your control, how you respond to them and what you do about them is entirely within your control. Manifestation meditation allows you to take back control over your life by giving you the power to take the raw materials of circumstances in your life and transform them into love, wealth, abundance or whatever else you most desire.

How It Works

A key to successfully manifesting what you want is to maintain the proper vibrational frequency to attract it and, when it comes, to accept it and let it in. Sadness, pessimism and negativity produce a low vibrational frequency that is not conducive to this process; you’ll either attract the same types of stimulus for feeling sad, pessimistic and negative or you simply won’t attract much at all.

Successful attraction of abundance requires a high vibrational frequency, which manifestation meditation can help you achieve. Examples of high-vibration emotions and states include love, happiness, focus and confidence. These attract more of themselves, bringing more love, happiness, focus and confidence into your life. Often this may come in the form of supportive people, productive activities, promising opportunities and valuable goods.

Manifestation meditation is one of the most powerful and effective tools for raising your vibration. By channeling your energy through meditation into visualizing what you want and feeling the positive emotions associated with having those things, you align your vibration with those things and the positive emotions you associate with them.

Steps of a Manifestation Meditation

Give yourself a good 15 minutes each day to practice manifestation meditation as laid out in these steps below, and you give yourself the best chances of attracting the fulfilling life you envision for yourself.

1. Relax

Find a location where you can block out distractions. Get into a comfortable position, ideally seated, in which you won’t just fall asleep once you start relaxing. Train your focus on your breath, noticing every inhale and exhale, including how it sounds and how it feels. Notice its rate, and how it slows; its sound, and how it grows more and more silent; how it feels in various parts of your body, and how it expands to penetrate and permeate more of your body.

Getting into a relaxed state without just falling asleep makes you more able to focus on your wants and how they make you feel and makes you more open and receptive to the manifestation of those wants when they come.

2. Focus

As your breathing slows and grows silent and spreads throughout your body, turn your focus to your desires. Use visualization techniques to create a clear picture of what you want and what it looks like to have it.

If you find yourself distracted at any point, don’t judge or berate yourself, don’t let yourself grow anxious or frustrated; simply bring your focus back to where you want it.

3. Open

Open your heart to accept abundance and the manifestation of what you want when it appears. Remove any blocks your inner self-saboteur may throw up in its way. Allow yourself to feel ready, willing and able to accept your desires and what it means for you and your life to have them. Remove and eliminate any doubts about what you want, guilt about having them or insecurities about your ability to live up to their fulfillment. Know that you are good and worthy and deserving of having love and all that you want, and let all inner obstacles to that dissolve and disperse.

4. Visualize

See what you want in your mind’s eye as clearly as possible. Notice its shape, energy, color, texture, sound–whether it’s an object or a state, circumstance or condition. See yourself interacting with it, living life in the face of this fulfillment. As much as possible, physicalize this visualization to integrate it with your emotions, perceptions and expectations. Feel how it feels in your bones to have this desire fulfilled.

5. Embrace

Let these visions and the vibrations they produce consume you. Let them take you over until they penetrate every part of you. Become the perfect channel and instrument for the fulfillment of your goals by making sure you can embrace them fully, without judgment, uncertainty or regret. Feel gratitude for the fulfillment you trust is already on its way.

6. Manifest

This can be the hardest of the steps because it requires letting go. Once you’ve done all you can to call your desires to you, the final step is to step back and trust with gratitude that you’ve been successful. A natural inclination after a manifestation meditation is to cling to that desire, looking everywhere for it and hoping beyond hope that your efforts were successful.

But, these are the very thoughts and emotions that can prevent those desires from being fulfilled. That’s because they demonstrate a lack of trust in the work you just did to produce its intended effect. Manifestation takes time, and by letting go of the energies you just corralled in your meditation, you allow the universe to take the time necessary to bring you what you asked for.

Keys to Successful Manifestation

To be most effective at manifestation meditation, you must bring to it certain key components, namely: breath, awareness and your senses.

Breath

Your breath allows you to relax into the meditation, releasing the stress, anxiety, worry, doubt and other negative thoughts and emotions that can sabotage even your best efforts otherwise. Focusing on your breath helps you shut out the noise inside you and surrounding you and keep your energy trained on the visualization and emotions of achieving your goals.

Awareness

Conscious breathing helps increase your awareness of the present moment and the position and state of your body and mind in it.

Awareness helps keep your manifestation meditation on course as well. By remaining aware of where you’re still holding tension in your body, mind or emotions, you can more easily release it. Your awareness of how the prospect of having your hopes and dreams fulfilled makes you feel can help you to better embrace and build upon that gratitude and other feelings to produce an even stronger magnetic force for attracting what you want.

And, of course, for this to work, you need to be fully aware and crystal clear on what exactly you want. By sending out mixed messages, false desires (such as those imposed on you by others or that you think you “should” want but don’t) or conflicting desires, you muddy your message to the universe and get back only an equally imprecise response.

Senses

By getting all your senses involved in the process, you take yourself beyond the level of visualization into the deeper level of integration. By allowing yourself to smell what success smells like, to hear what success sounds like, to taste what success tastes like and to feel what success feels like, you make yourself a stronger beacon for success and make yourself more able to embrace, accept and receive the rewards of your efforts when they come.

Recap

If you practice the Law of Attraction, you already know how meditation can help you be more effective in manifesting your desires. But even if you don’t know the first thing about the LoA, you can start implementing these manifestation meditation practices to help achieve your goals and give yourself the life of your dreams.

Manifestation is always occurring. We are always manifesting that which the universe believes we want based on the actions we’re taking, the thoughts we’re having and the energies we’re putting out there. By changing those actions, thoughts and energies from habitual and reactive ones into more deliberate and intentional ones, we can help control what we manifest to include only those things that support our lives, health, happiness and propel us to higher planes of consciousness.
